The Hague International Open Day

The Hague International Open Day

Behind the scenes in the City of Peace and Justice
The Hague’s international organisations work hard at making the world a safer and better place. Of course, this work goes on behind closed doors within the walls of the many international organisations that have a home in this city, such as the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, OPCW, Unicef and the courts in the Peace Palace. One day each year, you can visit these unique institutions. This year, The Hague International Open Day takes place on Sunday 25 September.

Join guided tours and learn more about various forms of jurisdiction, human rights and international security. Visit the International Lounge at the Museon and learn why The Hague is known as the world’s second UN city and the International City of Peace and Justice. Engage in a Q&A with the Mayor, participate in an international quest, visit the Museon’s exhibitions and enjoy the ‘peace’ fries. Admissions is free.

It is no longer possible to sign up for a tour! Registration is closed.
