Everyone is part of diverse communities, whether it is your neighborhood, workplace or cultural background. Do you experience a sense of belonging and connectedness within your cultural circle, or does it seem more focused on individualism? And how does that affect you? Where do you draw strength from?

In cooperation with foundation Sarita and Dialogue in The Hague, Initiatives of Change organizes a theme day on the power of community, solidarity and connection. You are cordially invited to attend. The dialogue will be introduced by historian and writer Ruud Chander, who will talk about the importance of community spirit within the Surinamese-Hindustani community.

We encourage everyone, regardless of cultural background, to participate and speak from personal experiences. If you have always wanted to learn more about the Surinamese-Hindustani community and its history, this is a great opportunity!
