Believing in Human Rights

  • Date: 10 December 13:30 - 17:30
  • Location: Grote Kerk

Sunday, December 10, 2023, marks the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. A milestone for every human being! In The Hague, city of peace and justice, we celebrate this special anniversary with the festival Believing in Human Rights. Everyone is welcome. Will you come too?

Human rights apply to everyone, including you. They protect who you are, what you believe in and where you come from. They ensure equal treatment and equal opportunities for all people. Unfortunately, abuse of human rights still happens. Far away, but also close by. Consider, for example, the right to housing. Or the right to equal employment opportunities.

Come to the festival and learn more about human rights and how you can stand up for yourself and others. Meet people who work for human rights and get inspired by their stories. Celebrate 75 years of human rights with us with special guest speakers, workshops, games and much more!
