What was on your plate last night? Where did that food come from? Who made it and how? All questions you don't think about every day. Discover the world of our food and explore the food of the region of The Hague by bike. Join 'Duurzaam Den Haag' on Friday 23 or Sunday 25 June on a food excursion.

The origin of our food is a topic that has been in the news more and more in recent years. Issues about agriculture, a fair income for farmers, soil and drinking water pollution, sustainability and, of course, our health are the order of the day.

That's why The Hague platform Ons Eten is organizing an exploration of food from The Hague region together with Stadslandbouw Den Haag. Explore the world of The Hague's food system. There is a surprising amount of food and drink from our own soil and sea.

Four inspiring bike tours

You'll pass places in and around The Hague where food is grown, traded or processed. The routes will take you past consciously enterprising restaurants in The Hague, producers in and around the city, fish auction Scheveningen, sustainable start-ups, community gardens and locations with an interesting (food) history!

Join us on Friday June 23 or Sunday June 25 on one of the four inspiring bike tours.

The tours are free! And last from 10:00 - 15:30 hours. And of course there is also something to taste. Feel free to invite colleagues or friends.
